Mitosis Simulation Lab Investigation

Specification:

An easy, graphic way to visualize the process of mitosis. In the process they'll gain a better understanding of what happens during cell division. Learn about chromosome function and structure by constructing models using coloured pop beads. Students will then use these "chromosomes" to model each stage of mitosis. Additionally, they'll learn to distinguish between plant and animal mitosis. Class size - 40 students
